Girls Empowered Summer Camp serves girls, ages 9-12, through interactive themes designed to educate, inspire, create self-confidence and give tools for them to navigate and manage the emotional and mental challenges they face on a daily basis. They will create lasting relationships and sisterhood in this 3 day camp through FUN, CREATIVE and EFFECTIVE activities lead by Erin Cornick and Brittany Laxton and special guests that are empowering and uplifting.

Girls Empowered Summer Camp 2019

Dates: June 24, 26 & 27th

Time: 10am -12:30pm at the Lanai at Wood Creek

Girls Empowered Summer Camp serves girls, ages 9-12, through interactive themes designed to educate, inspire, create self-confidence and give tools for them to navigate and manage the emotional and mental challenges they face on a daily basis. They will create lasting relationships and sisterhood in this 3 day camp through FUN, CREATIVE and EFFECTIVE activities lead by Erin Cornick and Brittany Laxton and special guests that are empowering and uplifting.

Erin Cornick has a Masters degree in Counseling and has been working in the mental health field for 15 years. She is also a certified Life and Wellness Coach. She believes that through coaching and setting realistic and manageable goals people can rise to their highest potential. She partners with her clients to work on their strengths versus just their weaknesses.

Brittany Laxton is a Registered Yoga Teacher who has worked with children in the school system to teach them mind/body awareness, meditation, yoga and breathing techniques to help students thrive and build strong inner resources to help cope with today's pressures and challenges

Katie Jennings (Special Guest) is a documentary photographer and film maker whose specialty is capturing the true spirit children. She will be there capturing the spirit of the girls + the activities. Participants can download any photos for web use (social media) full resolution files can be purchased at a discount from a private online gallery.
